Temple Taoist - Ling Ci Xing Gong 灵慈行宫

Temple Taoist - Ling Ci Xing Gong 灵慈行宫 (2021 0426)

Address: 53 Truro Rd, Singapore 217590

The history of Ling Ci Xing Gong can be traced to 1959, when the "Joss Ash" and statue of Mazu was brought over from Ling Ci Gong in Putian, Fujian. Mazu was initially worshipped in Thian Hock Keng, and was moved to Tiwari Road (opposite Kiew Lee Tong Temple) for a few months, before moving to a temporary building at the current location. In 1962 the temple was built and consecrated, and this is reflected in the temple's Yun Ban (bronze plate/gong).
