Trail Start Point
1880s 7-inch RML Gun Emplacement
1885s 7-inch RML Gun Rifle Muzzle Load (RML), this gun was sometimes referred to as a "Bottle Gun"
1867s 64-Pounder RML Gun - two mark III guns were emplaced at Fort Siloso as part of the fort's initial armament in the 1880s.
Malayan Cannons - It is believed that gun making was introduced to this region by Muslim traders from Middle East in the 15th century.
1944s 120mm Naval Dual-Purpose Guns
Breech Load (BL) designed in the 1920 to engage both naval targets and air targets, those Japanese guns equipped both ships and coastal defiance batteries were manufactured by the Kure Arsenal in 1944.

Naval guns such as these were armament for warships; mount in rows facing outwards through ports (Opening) in the side of warships
19th Century 13-inch Trench Mortars (Muzzle Load)
The 13-inch Mortar dates back to the early 1800s. It was designed to fire explosive projectiles at a steep angle sending the projectiles on a high trajectory over enemy's ramparts.
1867 64-Pounder RML Gun
Manufactured in 1867 Mark III Guns were made of wrought iron with steel tube which was rifled with three groves. Rifling imparted a spin on the projectile.
1885 8-inch BL Gun (Breech Load)
Manufactured at Elswick, Newcastle upon Tyne in England, at Armstrong works, the 8-inch BL gun was constructed entirely of steel and could fire by percussion of electrically.
1890s 9.2-inch BL Gun
The 9.2-inch BL gun was produced in response to the German Krupp 24cm gun of 1879
1939 25-poundeer Howitzer Gun Breech Load (BL)
It could operate as a field gun, firing direct at visible targets and as a howitzer by shooting over obstacles. It remained in British service until 1967.
1930 Fire Director Tower
This Fire Director Tower formed part of a coast artillery command which directed guns of increased range and accuracy.
The tower directed the firing of the 12-pounder QF gun and the searchlights located on the shore below the gun emplacement.
1893 12-Pounder QF Gun Breech Load (BL)
Was manufactured at the Elswick Ordnance Company, Newcastle upon Tyne
1885 7-inch RML Gun
Was designed by the Royal Gun Factory and was manufactured by the Royal Arsenal at Woolwich.
1923 140mm Coast Defense Gun
Those Japanese gun was designed in 1914 as coastal artillery and manufactured in the Kure Arsenal in 1923
1867 64-Pounder RML Gun Rifle Muzzle Load (RML)
Manufactured in 1867 with wrought iron with steel tube which was rifled with three grooves. Rifling imparted a spin on the projectile. This stabilised the flight of the projectile resulting in greater accuracy.
